Summer 2019-Rollout
- Installation, configurations, testing etc.
- Training begins for early adopters and all faculty.
Fall 2019-Limited Pilot
- Early adopters teaching in Canvas.
- Faculty opt-in to transition to Canvas for coming semesters.
- All faculty access Canvas (fall 2019, spring 2018, fall 2018 shells and sandbox course).
Spring 2020
- Spring 2020 opt-ins teaching in Canvas.
- Faculty opt-in to transition to Canvas for summer 2020.
Summer 2020
- Summer 2020 opt-ins now teaching in Canvas.
- Final opt-in for fall 2020.
Summer 2020-Blackboard Retired

When can I attend Canvas training?
- Faculty may attend any training beginning summer 2019.
- Training will be face-to-face, online and on-demand.
When can faculty, who are not early adopters, begin teaching in Canvas?
- Spring 2020.
- All faculty will give given access Canvas during the fall 2019 semester (fall 2019, spring 2018, fall 2018 shells and sandbox course).
